Maureen Sailing Club 25th November

Our club event on Saturday in the Music Room was a great success, thank you for your help in organising the event. Please make sure praise goes out to Neil and his team for smooth and excellent service, we had to wait a few minutes for some guests, but the team were poised for action and worked so efficiently there seemed to be just the right time between courses. For my part it was great to have someone to liase with on the night. Thank you. A special big thank you to Chef and team behind the scenes. We don't see you but the food at Hogarth's has achieved a very good reputation and has been consistently well received by my club members. We came back for the third year running and I checked with a number of guests after the meal. It seems everyone was more than happy with their choices. My own choice of fish and my husband the turkey, we both agreed an excellent meal. Many many thanks. I was able to access part of the room earlier in the day, that sets my mind at rest and I could start to set up some club flags. That really helps. The tables and hotel decorations in the room create just the right sense of occasion and we have rounded off the season with a flourish.

I loved it, so did all my guests. Received many compliments on the venue and no negative comments. Helen made everything easy due to great communications skills, friendly manner, above all efficiency in facilitating all those little tweaks that enabled me to personalise the event. Especially nice to see her on the day of my party. Adam Fennessy ensured smooth delivery, including slight changes to make my guests’ experience extra nice. Again, communicated well. It was gratifying that he and other staff remembered me from a very different event 2 years ago! Compliments to the chef and team. Starters delish, the beef was to die for, all enjoyed their meals. Flexibility also shown, in all a five star performance.

We had a wonderful evening on Saturday thank you. Everything was spot on, the service, the staff, the food and the ambience. I was delighted with everything and received many compliments about the food in particular- good choices. I’d like to thank you personally for all your help and advice during the planning stages and for your friendly and personal approach which was very much appreciated. I will if course complete the questionnaire but wanted to extend my thanks to you, Olly and the team who looked after us on Saturday- very professional and effective. I’m very pleased with my decision to hold our special evening at Hogarth’s which did not disappoint in any respect. Thank you once again Helen and please pass on our thanks to the operational team too.
