A whole new hogarths!
Around £2.2 million has been invested at hogarths Stone Manor in Stone, near Kidderminster, which involves transforming its 56 bedrooms and suites, conference suites, restaurant, reception, bar and public areas.
“At the start of our refurbishment programme, we found photos in our archive when we were the first four-star property in Worcestershire and this massive project will help us in our plans to become one of the AA’s Red Star properties in the UK.
“All the bedrooms are completely refurbished with classic, elegant furnishings and with a new entrance and walkway to our reception.
“The designers have taken their inspiration from our wonderful gardens and the glass-fronted restaurant at the rear of the venue overlooks them as we bring the colour of the gardens inside so our diners can appreciate the views all-year round as well as enjoy al fresco dining on our terrace.
“The hotel’s original features such as our antique fireplaces and timber panels have been restored throughout the property”
“This has been a really exciting time for our 100 staff as we look forward to setting new records at the end of 2016.”
Owners Helena and Andy Hogarth appointed London-based Trevillion Interiors, who completed the refurbishment of the Dormy House Hotel in the Cotswolds, and the contractors are Zenith.
