Greener Schools Awards

Hogarths Hotel proud to sponsor Greener Solihull Schools Awards.

This year schools in Solihull Borough have been discussing environmental issues as part of their curriculum.  The Greener Schools Awards are designed to allow these conversations to become reality.  Schools form environmental teams, have discussions regarding climate issues, hold events to highlight their activities and undertake fundraising for great causes.

Hogarths have been involved with a series of projects over recent years but The Greener Schools Awards have proved to be the most rewarding project so far.

Robert Elliot – Director of Sales – said “The effort and determination showed by these students to make an impact on their environment has been fantastic.  Hogarths support many activities, but when young people are being involved it gives us great encouragement as a family business that we are helping give something back.

Robert Elliot is pictured with Cllr Stuart Davis, Mayor of Solihull, Mandy Green, Sharon O’Keefe, Sheela Fisher, and Gemma Snowden of Widney Junior, Monkspath Infant, St Patricks Primary, and Sharmans Cross Junior Schools respectively.
