Hogarths welcomes back first ever guest
Gerald Sammons who has lived in Dorridge for 50 years celebrated his 85th Birthday this week at Hogarths hotels. His birthday was hosted in one of Hogarths new outside dinning beach huts in the award winning grounds. The day was made even more special when Gerald told his story of being one of Hogarths first ever customers, his story that he was the first ever person to eat in Hogarths in 2004, following winning a competition in the Observer newspaper .
He came that day with his wife Maureen who has sadly passed away, Gerald told us his family asked him where would he like to go for his Birthday and he choose Hogarths . He said his first experience of Hogarths in 2004, gave him such a great first impression, the staff made him feel like royalty and they still do.
Gerald said Hogarths is just brilliant always clean and is well looked after and run, the staff always look after you and that’s why I choose to come back.
